Energy Prices (Mid August 2015)

Electricity:  

It has been reported that the UK government has approved the construction of a new large wind farm in the Dogger Bank section of the North Sea. However it is not certain if and when the farms will be built, as the developers have indicated a final investment decision may not be made for two years.

Gas: 

With its fastest pace in five years global oil demand growth in 2015 is expected to increase by 1.6 million barrels/day – according to the International Energy Agency (IEA).
